Bad Bad-ish news: Lindsay Lohan tweeted last night that the rumors of her failing two drug tests are true but she's taking responsibility and is "prepared to face the consequences." Those consequences might include a repeat performance in jail, but she's also likely to have her travel privileges revoked, meaning she won't be able to shoot SNL or the movie project Inferno.
While acknowledging that this was a setback, she thanked fans for understanding that she is a work in progress like everyone else.
The bad news to me isn't actually any of the above but that enough people give a shit about her chenanigans to perpetuate media coverage and that somewhere along the line the media has adopted the nickname "LiLo" for her: as if she couldn't possibly be more irritating already.

Good Fabulous news: The true damage inflicted by pastor Terry Jones' aborted plan to burn copies of the Quran could not possibly be calculated, but Gainesville police and the county sheriff plans to present the pastor with a bill for $100,000 each to cover the cost of extra security during the brouhaha. It's not clear if the church can be forced to pay up and according to pastor Jones: "If we had known this in advance, then we would have refused to have security."
That's right, pastor Jones, if you had thought about the implications of your actions beyond the narrow confines of your foolish act, you would?....oh wait, that's right, you can't actually think that far ahead or broadly, can you? Hope you have enough in the bank.
