Marlybone High Street
Back blip
Back in Belfast again after a too short trip to London to meet up with Bb! This pic was taken on Marylebone High Street which is a stone's throw away from where we spent two happy years from 2004 - 2006. After a really early start on Saturday morning I spent the day enjoying a bit of retail therapy and then met up with Bb at the end of his day. We wandered around our old area and had dinner in one of favourites, The Golden Hind fish and chips restaurant just off Marylebone High Street. They really do do a mean haddock and chips and we always have it with two pickled onions and brown sauce, washed down with a bottle of something white bought at the off licence round the corner. I was happy to reach the area of Marylebone, which, although just minutes from the hustle and bustle of Oxford Street, really does have a village feel to it. I'd forgotten how tiring it can be to manage your way through the tube and up and down all these escalators!
