Spring Flower

I started my spring cleaning today but took a break with a cuppa and went for a stroll through my garden. The sun was shining, the wind was blowing - bit cool, and the bees were buzzing.
No special visitors to the garden today but I did notice some changes taking place. Early spring flowers are coming to the end while peonies and agapanthus are forming buds. The roses have newly formed leaves and the hostas are not far away. My wisteria and clematis also have buds.
I realised as I was strolling that I hadn't blipped many spring flowers so before I continued with my spring cleaning I took a blip of this little treasure. Glowing in the sunlight and filling the air with fragrance.

My hubby informed me yesterday that he had 10 days before his Christmas leave application was due in - 'Christmas'! I said in disbelief!! Am I the first blipper to mention the 'C' word......So it was on the phone to his parents to see what they're doing, whos going where and when. I know my brother and his family are coming to stay before Christmas - all of a sudden it was time to think about Spring Cleaning and Christmas. This is rare for me, I don't normally think about Christmas until after Daughter E's birthday in Novemeber but this year everyone seems to be coming to our place which I don't mind at all :)

Think I'll go back to thinking about Spring!
