Creepy-crawly nosh
Cement had gone off this morning so set to and built the fifth compost bin by lunchtime.
Spent the afternoon pruning the rampant elder bushes that we tolerate because they stabilise the banks of our river. Fed loads of stuff through the shredder and lo - a third of a bin of food for little creatures.
This time next year this lot will be dark brown, soft and ready to spread on the garden - the additional protein in the mix will be very welcome to the robins and blackbirds that call our garden home.
Tried to blip fireworks tonight from our neighbours little shows but failed miserably.
