Château Scharwenka: Vendange 2010

The vine has a shoot that passes by our bedroom window, and this collection has come off that branch.

The grapes have been quite plentiful this year, but we have left them fairly late, which means the birds have had a good proportion.

The word ripened might be a slight exaggeration, but the rather small grapes are tasty if not very sweet.

They may appear here another day in their current form.
