The old Rapid Hardware building on Renshaw Street has been turned into gallery space for the Biennial and to good effect. There's a real mix of pieces, some good some bad, but more of the former than the latter.

This is one of my favourites. Its accompanied by a soundtrack and is designed to let us see and hear what goes on underneath the city. Not literally, of course. Although largely contained in one room, the pipes carry on outside the building by exiting through a hole in the window just behind the point from which I took this shot.
