The edge

After a couple of days working in Westray we treated ourselves to a day of play.

A long cycle, a picnic and a mess about on the beach. Not to mention the sun blazing down. Campbell did consider a quick dip but settled for a paddle as he didn't have his trunks with him and thought the beach a bit to crowded for skinny dipping.

Then a calm sea crossing back to Kirkwall and a visit to the chippy before making our tired and weary way home.



The pic was taken at Grobust beach. Which must be about as close to the end of the world as you can get. If you look closely you can see where the sea is falling over the edge....
