Crash landing...

This little chap reminded me of a damaged WWI aeroplane coming in to land: very wobbly descent then a final bumpy landing before total collapse on the post I was walking past.

He wasn't injured...just cold I think. He let me take a few snaps then mustered all his strength and took off again. I only had my G9 with me so I'm not sure I've done him justice.

Cool autumnal days are upon us and my poor little dragonfly-friend's days are numbered I fear.
