Physical Graffiti

Found this complex of derelict buildings on a trek around Sheffield with the most amazing graffiti inside. I have seen some of the artists work in various places around the city and think some of it is commisioned but this was in quite a grimy, out of the way, set of buildings and not plainly visible to the street.

The whole set of buildings was covered in his work and much of it was interconnected. I'm divided on graffiti, and I know that there's a school of thought that all graffiti is bad graffiti, but when you consider the likes of Banksy etc this surely makes a grim place better?

Anyway, in another happy accident I also came across the BBC reporter Rita Chakrabati filming in the city centre and it was a tussle for which was going to be today's blip. It seems to be the nature of the beast that sometimes you have twenty images you consider blip worthy and then the following day you're almost ashamed to submit!
