Clicker Training Graduation

After 6 weeks of formal Sunday morning classes and daily training in the evenings at home, Paddington and Baloo finally graduated from clicker training this morning! It has been a wonderful experience for all 4 of us and we've come a long way since that first dreadful class on 8 Aug, where Paddington was barking for the entire hour and ended up biting the instructor's assistent!

Our instructor, Candi, has been an absolute darling... patient and friendly, yet professional and efficient. Paddington is now calmer and more focused and has managed to pull his lovely nature at home through to the training environment. (He still has his "monster" moments, but they have become far less frequent and also far less intense!)

Baloo, the little teddy bear, has been a star from the very start! He's still very young and loses focus now and again, but he's got loads of potential and loves the training and Sean has done a great job with him.

We'll now take a week's break and then move on to the next level, starting ProPups 2 on 3 Oct 2010. I'm sure it's gonna be a tough challenge and great fun... I'll keep you posted:)
