Asakusa, Tokyo. Day 5.

Today we went to Senso-ji Temple, and very impressive it was too!

It was absolutely huge with about 6 different buildings, 2 beautiful bright red gates, the second tallest pagoda in Japan (as seen in this pic!), and a sprawling market place full of cheap and cheerful trinkets for all of the tourists!

It was an excruciatingly hot and BRIGHT day today, so pretty hard to get a decent picture without it being massively over exposed.
