Parklife - Myatt's Field Park, SE5

I had a great day taking photos in places as diverse as Putney and Peckham. I'd put the camera away and was on my way through my little local park when I saw this scene. I live in South London, which is seen as unfriendly, loud and busy. Myatt's Field Park dispells that myth. It's peaceful oasis of calm in which the diverse local population come together and relax in their own ways. I approached these 2 ladies about taking their photo - they were lovely, (although slightly mystified) and just carried on their own conversation while I snapped away. Apparently they meet on the same bench every day for a cigarette and a chinwag.
