Local produce

Well, fairly local at least. Definately no Peruvian asparagus, which is new on my list of things to maybe stop eating due to the draughts the farming of them cause.
I suppose flying them in is kind of dodgy too, but sometimes that can be CO2 OK-ish, compared to other alternatives.

If the kids liked them? Well, tough luck if not, they didn't get any alternatives.
Listen up parents, kids will eat anything, including those pesky fruit and veg, if you don't give them the chicken nugget option. In due time they will.
