Blast from the past

We are decorating Kitty's room, well, stripping wallpaper at the moment, which meant I had to move the cabinet of vinyl that's been in there for the best part of a year. It was so heavy, I had to stack the LPs and this is how they ended up. The sharp eyed and nostalgic will recognise Tonic For The Troops by Boomtown Rats on the top of one pile and Punch the Clock by Elvis Costello on the other.

I still have my turntable in the living room and like every other vinyl bore I'm convinced it sounds better than an iPod. Perhaps it's because when you play a record, you get a tumble of memories thrown in.
