It's party time!

A friend of the family has got engaged and the party is tonight, so much of today was spent searching for the ideal gift, which eventually came in the shape of a Marks n Sparks gift card...

I was looking forward to a night of heavy drinking and a bus ride home (a big change to the norm as I mostly drive everywhere!). But it was not to be as I became unstuck with a dodgy sore throat, and medication and alcohol are not a good mix!...(plus all I wanted was a hot cuppa tea...but I still managed to squeeze in a smirnoff!) So I drove there and back...but still it is always so nice getting into a slightly warm car as opposed to freezing bits off on public transport...so I did not mind one bit!

Also, the kebab was divine! Or bbq as is more commonly known...but with a med. twist. Loved the spread and as always ate too much - too fast - and couldn't breathe for about half an hour later...

When will I learn???
