King Victoria II
The next stage of wine production begins. Got a jelly bag from a good lady friend and our kitchen now has a smell wafting through it like never before. Hope it smells better at the end of production!!!
Gearing up for another weekend in the studio with The Lorelei. Plans for fiddle, viola, mandolin and octave mandolin tracks on Friday night while the rest of us rehearse the other tracks elsewhere in the studio. Then sat and Sunday hopefully finish all bass drums and rhythm guitar tracks.
Our musical life has changed a lot since we first split 10 years ago. We live all over the place. Our bass player JP lives in London and thinks nothing of finishing work, getting on a bus arriving here for 10. 30 sat. Rehearsing from 12 to 6 then back on bus home. Now that's commitment! I'm in awe if it to be honest. He must like it. The Internet makes our musical journey a little easier. The idea of thinking of a tune, recording it on my phone and then emailing that idea to my buddies on a bus is almost as ludicrous as taking a photo on my phone and being able to share it with the world!!! Wonderful stuff.
Still fine tuning our cover idea and will then take it to the good folks of blipland. G... If you read this, will be in touch soon.
Not quite sure how I got from wine to the band.... It's usually the other way round ;-)
Thanks for looking
