The Chatterbox, Austin NJ

This is no Disney theme restaurant...
It is a project that took years to build. In the 1950s it wasa New Jersey diner which eventaully started to crumble.
It has been completely restored by its current owners and everything is authentic late 40s/50s.
The atmosphere at weekends is legendary. Dozens and sometimes as many as a hundred vintage cars and motorcycles are parked outside and the 40s and 50s music is played. An incredible time is had by all. The food is traditional diner food of the highest quality. The soda fountain is on the go non-stop.
It's the hippest, wildest place to be at the weekend. And it doesn't even sell alcohol and nobody cares......
