Metallica

Metallica play the second of two shows at the CBS Canterbury Arena tonight. A real coup for the Mainland's die-hard metal fans. Christchurch resident Andrea Grom campaigned hard (with over 20,000 people joining her) to persuade the band to include a South Island venue as part of their Death Magnetic album world tour. I'm no metaller. Having said that, I really enjoy some of Metallica's music and - hopefully - so do my neighbours.
