Last Day of Summer

The weather today started out quite cool...long sleeves and jackets definitely in order for going to school this morning. By evening it had warmed up a bit...but cooled off quickly once 5 pm rolled around. No rain to be seen so it was a perfect summer day here in the Pacific Northwest. After picking the grands up at their schools at the end of the day, we decided to hit one of the local parks...and they had a grand time playing for a bit before heading home for dinner, more playtime, baths and bed.

Definitely hope for more of the same weather tomorrow to welcome the first full day of autumn!
