autumn

Looks like autumn is here- which means that winter'll start in about a week. I've never known such short seasons- Beijing is either hot or cold, and for only about 4 weeks of the year is it somewhere in between.

It's still sunny, which means I ought to be cheery, but for some reason feel a little bit blue. A night out would probably help but I just want to curl up on the sofa, so that's what I'll do. I wonder if I should throw out all this post-apocalyptic fiction I keep buying and read something a bit less depressing?
