Ladybird, still summer...just

On the Autumn equinox, today felt like one of the last days of summer, but only just. This ladybird was catching the sun while it could.
As I blip this, thunder and lightning are passing over, that spectacular sign of hot and cold weather coming together for a fight in the sky.
On a camera geek point, my Ricoh CX1 is pretty much unbeatable for macro shots. I was so close to the ladybird, I had to avoid the shadow of the lens barrel.
