Hanging On

Brickmaker, your words from yesterday have pounded in my brain: "I think the bin is best for them." I am devastated!

How can I part with these flowers I love so much? I've only had them a little more than 3 weeks! The vase was only dry for a few days! Now they are altruistically sacrificing their life-sap to the wee critters sheltering beneath their petals. They long for passing ladybirds to alight and munch on their tickling parasites.

Err, has anybody got any passing ladybirds?
