el lagarto III

Had Mr. L.O up a ladder the past 2 days painting this suede textured paint on some of the walls in the kitchen. He was not having too much fun.
But the end result is worthwhile, say I! We put back some of our bits and pieces tonight, including this little fellow from Oaxaca who we brought home last year.
Wooden animals painted in this colourful manner are somewhat of a specialty there. You can find all sorts of creatures from armadillos to dragons, but my favourites are always the lizards.
They are muy bonito !
