Last First Day of School
Today was a little hectic, and it definitely was not like many of my other first days of schools. In all my 17 years of schooling, I have never experienced not having a set schedule before starting school! Lots of classes that people need are full and that's what happened to me--twice!
Things worked themselves out, as they usually do, but it was still a pretty stressful experience. And somehow I've ended up at 20 units again (5 classes).
Reflections as a senior: it feels like somehow I'm already gone from the campus which is weird since I'm more involved than ever. Seeing the new freshmen roll in, remembering those times, just makes me realize that I've come so far, yet there's still so much more to do. My goal for this last year is to come out feeling like I had really, truly accomplished something worthwhile with my time here at UCI and the school really has given me all the resources to do that. It's just my responsibility to take advantage of all those opportunities because really, I have no one to blame but myself. When there's a will, there's a way!
However, I still believe that everything happens for a reason :)
