Kendal Castle

On Friday's I clean a holiday cottage which is at the bottom of Kendal Castle Hill. Last week Rory asked to visit the castle so, at 9.30am we made our way up to the ruins of the castle.

It was bitterly cold and on the way up their little legs were carried by the enthusiasm of seeing a 'broken down castle' and my explanations of why the castle was once built.

By the time we arrived they were too cold to care and preffered to hide in this doorway, a vacant look on their faces.

Carrying both of them down the hill was quite a challenge.
