Schelde

To escape the noise, dust and constant power outages due to the building works i decided to cycle to Linkeroever, which translates to left bank. Where in London there is a north and south bank of the river Thames, in Antwerp there are a left and right bank of the river Schelde. When on the left bank, I cycled north along the river. I love seeing the old harbour which then goes into the more recent harbour buildings.

When I saw this little tug boat coming down river, I quickly cycled ahead to make this photo. Little boat against big refinary...

I am not sure though if I got much cleaner air on the banks of the river than I did in my dusty house...
