The Round Tower and the Horse

Windsor Castle.

Every year round about this time we have the Windsor Festival. Lots & lots of music. Tonight it was the English Chamber Orchestra in the (how fitting!) Waterloo Chamber at Windsor Castle. Chamber isn't exactly the word for this baronial room, but let's leave that aside for the moment. Stunning performance: two Bach Brandenburgs, two Mozart concerti, one for oboe, one for bassoon. So we're still swimming in sound as we spill out of the castle. First thing I set eyes on is the chap on the horse.
