Polydactyl

This is my new friend. He's a Polydactyl which means he has extra toes ! He looks like he has thumbs. Ernest Hemingway had a number of Polydactyl cats, he considered them to be lucky. This little lad is incredibly shy and usually hides from everyone. 2 days ago he would hide from me, tonight he jumped onto my lap and sat there purring. I think I have won him over.
