Sphinx in sunshne

The light was very pretty this morning. I went out reasonably early to get the paper and take a few photos of the war memorial which is still being restored. The dahlias round the base of the Sphinx sundial in Bath Street just across the road have lasted really well. Although it was chilly out, it has been a gorgeous day.
