100 Club

This wasn't going to be my blip for today, then I read the shocking news that 100 Club which is situated in Oxford Street, London is going to close at the end of 2010 due to increasing losses - if that happens it will be a major loss to the music industry as not all of us enjoy gigs at large unpersonal venues like O2, hopefully something will be done to save the club. Over the years so many bands have played there it really is an iconic piece of music history which should be preserved at all cost especially after the demise of so many other London venues in recent years.
