Boats on the Avon from priory marsh

A funny day today - I spent a lazy morning reading then D went off to footy and I went downhill not enjoying my own company. My daughter, who I am doing boot sale with tomorrow, rang to see how I was getting on and suggested I go out for a walk which always cheers. I decided to try to cross Priory marsh onto Stanpit which proved impossibly wet and I wished I had good boots on! Still I did see a different view of the river from usual and I found our poorly boat still in the water not on dry land as expected (she isn't in this picutre she is much less elegant!).

There were some lovely boats out today and it reminded me that the point of tomorrow is to raise money for a repair, so, job done, I pulled self together and went home to find 'cash in the attic' though was nicely interrupted by D returning and taking me off to the quay to get his blip!

No time to comment tonight, car is packed and I have an early start tomorrow...hope the punters are out in force
