A lasting lesson
After nearly 30 years of photography, last year I had two days training. One of the days taught me a lesson I haven't forgotten yet, about f stops and suchlike. It was taught Through The Medium Of Umbrella. Here is a repeat demonstration; an umbrella with segments of rainbow colours, made to look swizzy.
Brussels was very rainy today, alternating with hot sunshine, but forcing us to buy this very beautiful brolly in C&A (they still have them in Europe) for 12 Euros, and worth every penny as we could pretend to be George Smilie as we walked along ostentatiously tapping the umbrella on the ground.
(Of course, George Smilie would never have been ostentatious).
