Doors Open Day! **
Blip opportunities would surely abound. I wasn't to be disappointed - in the afternoon Tynecastle Park threw open its doors. And with ten minutes to go the fans were streaming out of them. Oh dear. You can't win them all, I reckon. And Motherwell are a decent team, right? Luckily the famous Athletic Arms, aka "The Diggers", also seemed to be taking part and I needed no encouragement to enter its portals....

** Doors Open Days is Scotland's largest free annual architectural event.  It is coordinated nationally by the Scottish Civic Trust and is part of European Heritage Days along side Scottish Archaeology Month, coordinated by Archaeology Scotland (formerly known as the Council for Scottish Archaeology).  Both are supported by Historic Scotland. Blah blah blah.
