Hanmer Spa

Today a colleague from work (Hi Brian ;-) and I travelled to Hanmer Springs, 90 minutes north of Christchurch to attend the opening of the new Hammer Springs Spa complex. We attended as they are a client of ours, and of course there was the promise of a free lunch.

So yes, there is such a thing as a free lunch, and I would have to say, a fantastic one. Then we collected our goodies bag - slippers, towels, oils and potions and had a tour of the new complex. Quite spectacular.

KiwiD and I (and Canterbury) are in Hanmer this weekend - we will be visiting the adjacent hot pools, but maybe not the spa. But who knows, the aching bones after 80KM might need it ...
