Clouds

On a trip today to Sanday with a group of RSPB people. Usually I prefer to go my own way, but it was very useful having some bird experts there to ID some birds I've not seen before. So we had migrants like arctic redpoll, Lapland bunting, snow bunting, icterine warbler, barred warbler, lesser whitethroat, as well as short-eared owl, hen harrier, merlin etc. All on a beautiful sunny day.

The company was pleasant too, not just the expertise.

This shot is from the ferry about twenty minutes before reaching Kirkwall. It isn't a sunset, really, it's more about the sky itself.
