Growing herbs

We went to the Stratford on Avon Food Festival today and spent the afternoon wandering around the stalls - loads of different foods on show, some live music and plenty of real ales and ciders too.

We saw this stall near the end of the day and spent quite a while looking at all the plants on display - quite a few I'd never heard of, plus lots of the 'medicinal' plants like St John's Wort, lemon balm and comfrey.

In the end we decided on coriander, basil and rosemary as well as a little bay tree and a chilli plant. I'm hoping I can manage to keep them all alive now.
