After breakfast, we packed the car and headed for the beach for another coastal walk. The weather was a bit touch and go and we got caught in the rain a couple of times. The kids didn?t seem to mind though. The northern coast of France is scattered with old German bunkers, which the kids found very fascinating. We also visited a World War II museum. I hated history when I was at school ? the teacher made it so boring. I find it very fascinating now.
We had planned to go to the supermarket before heading home and stock up on wine but unfortunately they were closed. Oh well ? can only be a good thing.
