as darkness falls the world speeds up

Another day at Uni. Nothing special there. However, have you ever noticed that as the nights draw in and it gets dark earlier, somehow the day seems to speed up.

One minute it is 4 pm, then suddenly it is 7pm and you don't seem to have done anything in between. Bizarre!

Going to have a night off tonight. Maybe light the fire. If I still smoked I'd be lighting my pipe.
