DesignersBlock | Make Your Mark (YOLO Exhibition)
I really admire the initiative behind this particular exhibition, the idea being that the pencil is used as a metaphor for a person's life.
The blissfully floating pencils represents 'lives detached, potential unrealised and dreams suspended.' It explores the tension of hesitation that 'lure us from leaving a trace on life's canvas.'
It's selling us a concept, but that concept is already within us. We all have the potential to make our passions flourish, we just need to realize it.
Sounds simple, but how many of us are in need of re-discovering those forgotten passions? and isn't it about time we start to seek who we are really made to be?
'You only live once. Make it count.'
