The Road Home

This is the road in front of our lake house. It occurred to me today that no matter which way I go on this road I am heading home. Either "home" to our apartment over our business or "home" to the lake house we have been fixing up and making livable again. When we showed my mother the little house on the lake that we had bought (years ago for $25,000.) she said, "How nice that you have a bike path in front but where is the road?" This is not only the road, it is a two way road with lots of blind curves. The old wood burning stove out front i our mail box!
