Snowy Mountains

Driving home from Christchurch today the weather was in total contrast to the beginning of yesterdays trip. Fantastic spring sunshine sparkling on pristine snow, not a rain cloud in sight the whole way. The way the sun was catching the faces of the mountains made the snow look like plastic moulding - absolutely glistening and perfect.

Somehow I couldnt quite catch the light like I wanted to, but I like shadow/light contrast here.
