Uncle Dick's Chair
Not an especially good photo, but a little slice of my life and my memories. My great uncle Dick served in WWII and was in Changi Prison and on the Burma Railway. So many of my memories are of him sitting in this squatter's chair on his back verandah. Now it sits on my front verandah. Just imagine lying back in it with your feet up on the arms. So comfortable! I haven't been able to bring myself to strip and repaint it. Somehow it would loose a lot of its character.
