Tick Tock

I missed a blip yesterday after just a week on here! :( Actually had a great photo opportunity in the afternoon - went to a small hotel pool with a fantastic view of the harbour and over the city, but alas, I left my camera battery in the charger at home! The evening yesterday was quite an emotional one, spent at the memorial service for a friend's dad who became ill and passed away rather unexpectedly. Having never met him, I was surprisingly much more emotional than I expected to be and it was a very heavy evening spent in thought about life, love, the future, what's important...everything that the reminder of mortality always dredges up.

So I thought tonight's image would represent the general mood of the past couple days pretty well...
