5m world
So much for 5 mile world - these grapes were delivered from next door, so possibly not even as far as 5m. Though if you count the guy walking from his back garden, through his house and to our front door, then maybe. Must be something in the air, after the delivery of apples we got last week from a neighbour across the street.
Less certain what I'm going to do with this delivery as the green ones are not sweet enough to eat straight. Any suggestions welcomed.
In the background you may just be able to make out some clothes that I had fun tearing apart this afternoon to send J off to school tomorrow as a 'poor Londoner from the time of the Great Fire of London'. Strange how ripping up clothes was much more satisfying than mending them.
Relatively quiet day - first born made it as far as the school gates but not as far as his classroom this morning due to a stomach bug. No bad enough for me to have to miss Zumba though - am trying not to think how scarring it might be for a 6 year old boy to watch a room of middle-aged women shaking their thang...most of the time he seemed to be heads down in a Beast Quest book. So a day on the sofa and various sports on iPlayer for him and messing about on the computer looking up improv games for me.
Until it was time to collect Anna from her first full day of school. A little surprisingly (given how well the last two weeks of half days have gone) there were tears this morning. Not surprisingly she has been fine all day.
Hope your week's have all started well
