Ultimate Desert Experience

Today's trip was the Ultimate Desert Experience. Again another description from the brochure....

"This trip has everything - spectacular desert scenery, a taste of Bedouin culture and a quad bike and camel ride to boot. It all begins with an afternoon 4x4 Quad ride through beautiful desert terrain to a traditional, tented Bedouin camp. Here, whizz off along the dunes and dusty tracks in a guided convoy. Oh, and if you don?t fancy driving a quad by yourself, you?ll find there are family quad bikes available, too. Once you?ve caught your breath from your quad adventure, it?s time to clamber onto a camel and take a swaying ride over the sands - real Lawrence of Arabia stuff. After that, puff on a hubbly-bubbly pipe and sip some Bedouin tea before sitting down to a barbecue dinner. And come dusk, your trip is rounded off with a colourful Nubian singing and dancing show around the campfire. Simply brilliant."

We actually went out the desert again on our quad bikes in the dark. Great fun! :o) This is Keir and I on our friendly camels.
