MRS HOPPY AND HER DUCKLINGS

For the last four years this female Mallard duck has raised her ducklings at our place.
We have named her Mrs. Hoppy as she has only one good leg and a stump which she hobbles around on. She arrives in late August and stays until her family is independent and is gone again by late November.
She comes to be feed every morning then disappears for the rest of the day.
