Puzzling
Found at the Pike Place Market in Seattle a very long time ago. Sold by the man who made it, a Texan in a cowboy hat who had a bunch of them in a hand-tooled leather satchel. The brass oval, a snake swallowing its tail, is about as long as my palm is wide. The brass star in the middle can be fiendishly difficult to dislodge. Once out, it's equally impossible to put back in. The children say there's a trick to this puzzle, but won't tell me what it is.
Some things don't come easy to me. Everything is as it should be.
Nice large.
