The Diva and the Chef

My friend Rita Campbell and I spent the whole morning recording vocals for the new Iceland Christmas TV advert! It was great fun!
(fyi I sing the Gaviscon advert 'What A Feeling' ;-) Thought you'd like to know ;-)
It was her Birthday so we went for lunch afterwards, Rita had seen Santino Busciglio's restaurant Mennula on one Gordon Ramsay's TV shows and really wanted to go there - so we did!
The food was excellent and Santino himself came out several times to check that everything was ok and we all ended up chatting for hours, turns out he is a Dance music fan and my record Dreaming by The Ruff Driverz is one of his favourites! He is such a nice man and we all had a lot of fun together, we also met his charming business partner Joe Martorana, another great character!
What an unexpected pleasure! it's so great when the owners of a Restaurant are friendly and personable, we will definitely go there again!
So now I am back at home and have finished a long stretch of touring and social engagements and can now tidy up the house!!!!!
