Lame boring photo of a centerpiece

Sorry today's photo is fairly boring... But I'm trying really hard to post every day!

This all-green herby centerpiece was in front of me at tonight's dinner I attended for work at San Diego State University. I sat next to the SDSU provost who was refreshingly human (we discussed our recently rescued adult labradors). Also she said that she is the longest serving provost in the 23-campus CSU system with a 12-year tenure at State. I'm not sure what that says about the turn over of chief academic officers but I would have thought there would have been someone in the position longer (the next longest according to her is 4 years!) Interesting.
