Mushrooms

I love mushrooms and the mushrooms season is definitely upon us. There must be 20 different varieties in the garden this morning. I took a mushroom picking course a few years back and had a brilliant time - well recommended if you fancy it. Trouble is I am a bit out of touch (not sure I will be easily be able to spot the difference between an edible Fairy Ringed Champignon and the poisonous Fool's Funnel) so I need to dig my books out.

I have some of the boys round tonight for beers, wine and some nosh. I wonder whether mushrooms will make it onto the menu?
